Cylinder


If the cross section of a solid is circular, the solid is called a cylinder. For example,
A right circular cylinder has an axis of symmetry which is perpendicular to both its end faces.
                                     Volume of cylinder = Base Area x Height
                                                                 = Area of circle x Height
